Deborah Cohen Author

About

Raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Deborah Cohen now lives in Chicago, where she's the Richard W. Leopold Professor of History at Northwestern University. She writes regularly for the Atlantic on subjects ranging from punk rock to World War I photography. Her essay about Anglo-Argentine families was published in Past & Present and she wrote about consumerism and mega-factories in the New York Review of Books. As her family can attest, she spends way too much time at flea markets. Her c.v. is available on her faculty website.
